Kids Education Assistant Wanted for Part-time Role

Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Kids Education Assistant to join our team. As an integral part of our childcare service, you will be responsible for supporting the daily activities and programs for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years old.

The successful candidate will have a passion for working with children and aspire to further their career in early childhood education. They will possess a Certificate III qualification and a strong understanding of child development principles, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

This is a permanent part-time position, working 4 hours a day, Monday to Friday. The role offers a great work-life balance and is ideal for someone looking to develop their skills and experience in a supportive and dynamic environment.

Key Requirements:
  • Australian working rights
  • A current NSW Working with Children Check
  • An ACECQA recognised Certificate III qualification
  • Completed Child Protection Training, as well as demonstrated understanding of current child safe practices
  • Sound understanding of the Education and Care Services National Law (2010) and the Education and Care Services National Regulations (2011)
  • Working knowledge of the Early Years Learning Frameworks (EYLF)
