Rehabilitation Consultant Position Available

We are seeking a Rehabilitation Consultant to join our team in Sydney. As part of the MedHealth Group, we offer an inclusive work environment where your voice matters and your impact is visible.

As a valued member of our team, you will be working with individuals who have sustained a psychological or physical injury in the workplace. Your role will include:

  • Conducting vocational assessments to identify suitable career paths for clients
  • Liaising with clients, insurers, medical practitioners, and employers to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes
  • Working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to support recovery and return to work, prioritizing the client's best interests
  • Developing targeted intervention strategies to improve life independence, vocational capacity, and functional performance
  • Familiarity with various healthcare and rehabilitation funding schemes
Key Responsibilities:
  • Undertake vocational assessments and provide recommendations for suitable career paths
  • Liaise with multiple stakeholders to achieve outcomes that benefit all parties
  • Participate in a multidisciplinary team to support recovery and return to work, prioritizing client needs
  • Develop and deliver targeted intervention strategies to enhance life independence, vocational capacity, and functional performance
  • Understand and navigate various healthcare and rehabilitation funding schemes
Requirements:
  • Qualifications in Rehabilitation Counselling and full ASORC Accreditation
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse stakeholders
  • Inclusive and integrative attitude towards working with diverse cultural groups
  • Proven ability to consistently provide high-quality customer service
  • Punctuality and effective time management skills
  • Willingness to travel (current vehicle and driver's license compulsory)
