Job Title: Imaging Department Assistant

This is a key role within our imaging department where you will be working closely with healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional care to patients.

  • The successful candidate will have excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. To assist healthcare professionals in performing imaging procedures, such as preparing rooms and administering contrast media.
  2. Provide excellent patient care, including hoisting, changing and moving patients, as well as administering medication. Liaise effectively with the multi-disciplinary team to ensure that all patients receive high-quality care.
  3. Maintain accurate records, including completing radiology computer systems and hospital information systems. Ensure data integrity by double-checking all information before submission.
  4. Assist in the training of new staff, enabling them to become fully conversant with departmental duties.
