The primary objective of this position is to deliver high-quality diagnostic and consultative speciality services within the integrated Department of Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynaecology and Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM).
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver advanced expertise in gynaecological ultrasound, particularly in the assessment of deep infiltrating endometriosis and complex gynae-oncology cases.
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and administrative activities as directed by the Department Head and the Sydney Local Health District.
- Supervise and counsel ultrasound examinations performed by sonographers across RPAH, the Charles Perkins Centre, and The Canterbury Hospital.
- Registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RANZCOG) and subspecialist certification in either Obstetrics and Gynaecology Ultrasound (COGU) or Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM), or nationally selected for this subspecialist certification with the goal of achieving certification within the next few years.
