We are seeking a highly skilled Victim Support Specialist to join our team. This is an exceptional opportunity for an individual who shares our passion for delivering evidence-based correctional services and improving the lives of victims.

As a Victim Support Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing high-level case management support and guiding frontline staff in handling complex and high-risk victim cases. You will also drive trauma-informed and victim-centred practices throughout our organization.

• Mentor and support staff through reflective practice, coaching, and expert guidance
• Lead best practice initiatives and support complex, high-risk case management
• Deliver training and drive continuous capability-building within the team
• Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance engagement, particularly with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and culturally diverse groups
• Provide strategic input into victim-related policies, service improvements, and legislative requirements

• Experience in complex case management, especially in victim services or the criminal justice system
• Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop teams
• Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and foster inclusive practice
• A commitment to trauma-informed and culturally safe service delivery
• Relevant qualifications in Psychology, Criminology, Social Work, or Human Services (postgrad qualifications in coaching/supervision highly regarded)
