Job Description

As a lead project manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the commissioning of fuel infrastructure projects. This includes managing resources, schedules, commercials, safety, and client relationships.

You will also be involved in experience in commissioning of fuel projects, managing all aspects of the project including contract management, estimating, programming of work, and defect rectification.

Additionally, you will coordinate direct labour and subcontractors, manage project start-up, maintain project schedule, and ensure effective handover, including holding regular project management meetings.

You will report on project success, results, progress, and deployment of activity, and maintain the project site, premises, plant & equipment.

Furthermore, you will ensure compliance with HSEQ requirements, work closely with the commercial team, and take ownership of all commercial aspects of the project.

Finally, you will manage and analyse project expenditure and duration, engage with clients and internal subject matter experts at pre-contract stage to understand scope, and contribute to tender process.


Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience delivering fuel projects and overseeing commissioning works.
  • Leadership skills and understanding of leadership responsibilities including reliability.
  • A high level of understanding and appreciation for safety.
  • Commercial acumen.
  • Programming and planning skills.
  • Experience in a similar role within a contractor environment.
  • Driver's License.
