About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Spares Planner to join our team at Northrop Grumman Australia. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing the supply planning for key assets and inventory within our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct long-range forecasts and risk assessments for Repair/Rotable Items, Sub fleet assets, and BDS&C.
  • Determine purchase, repair, and exchange requirements based on supply planning.
  • Collaborate with fleet planning, maintenance planning, and supply teams to ensure effective supply chain management for strategic assets.
  • Manage 'critical items' and communicate with the supply and maintenance teams.
  • Review TMP spares risk profile monthly to identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor and manage the achievement of agreed inventory health for BDS, RI, and Support & Test Equipment (S&TE).

Essential Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in inventory management or aircraft maintenance, ideally within an aviation or repairable item management environment.
  • Experience using inventory management systems such as MILIS, SAP, AIMS, IFlight, MRO, CAMM2, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of strategic spares pool size modeling and planning.
  • A team player with the ability to work independently and collaborate within larger groups.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Ability to obtain an AGSVA security clearance.
