Bupa care homes are designed to provide a safe, comfortable, and supportive environment for our residents. Our community is built around the needs of our residents, with a focus on their health, lifestyle, and well-being.
As a Cook at one of our care homes, you will play a vital role in providing nutritious meals that cater to the individual needs of our residents. This is a full-time role Monday - Friday 6.30am - 2.30pm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and prepare well-balanced and nutritious meals for our residents.
- Liaise with residents, families, and the care team to ensure residents' dietary, individual, and cultural needs are met.
- Support the efficient functioning of kitchen and catering services.
- Comply with all infection control and food safety procedures.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in the preparation and delivery of meals within a similar environment.
- Certificate in Commercial Cookery or equivalent is preferred but not essential.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to solve problems independently.
