Meat Department Team Member - Butcher
Job DescriptionCutting, trimming, tenderising and grinding meat using various equipment is a key responsibility of this role. Maintain and reassemble equipment, clean and sanitise work areas, assist with wrapping meat and seafood, stock the meat case and arrange displays.
Adhere to all standard operating procedures and safety standards. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation according to SSOP guidelines. Follow Costco Meat Department standards, procedures and goals.
Operate vehicles, equipment and machinery such as band saws, tenderisers, grinders and wrappers. Perform daily tasks efficiently and effectively.
Required Skills and QualificationsHigh school certificate or trade qualification in butchery.
Experience in butchery or similar, strong customer service, communication, interpersonal and organisational skills. Problem solving, attention to detail.
