Job Title: Pathology Collector

We are seeking a skilled Pathology Collector to join our team at KE Select. As a Pathology Collector, you will be responsible for collecting blood and other samples from patients in a hospital setting.

About the Role

This is a casual position, and shifts will vary. You will work across multiple departments in the hospital, including Emergency Department, Maternity, Public and Private Wards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect blood and other samples from patients
  • Work independently and as part of a team
  • Perform clerical duties and basic IT skills
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and patients
  • Prioritize tasks and work under pressure
  • Comply with Work Health and Safety regulations
Requirements
  • Experience in blood collection, including at least 6 months in Australia
  • Experience working with children, pediatrics, and neonates
  • Ability to cannulate for hospital shifts
  • Eligible to work in Australia - sponsorship not available
  • Possess a Police Clearance, current driver's license, and WWC Check
  • Hold a Cert 3 in Pathology Collection or Nursing Degree
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexible approach to work and availability
