Job Description

The Mental Health Care Professional will provide essential support services to individuals experiencing mental illness, focusing on improving outcomes for participants, carers, and the wider community.

This role involves working collaboratively with other professionals to create personalized care plans, offer referrals, conduct risk assessments, develop safety planning strategies, provide education, and deliver recovery-focused support.


Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this position, you will need a relevant tertiary qualification within the social services field, such as a Bachelor of Social Work. Additionally, experience working with individuals and families to create care plans, provide referrals, conduct risk assessments & safety planning, education and recovery-focused support is highly desirable.

Candidates should also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
