Diagnostic Imaging Professional

About the Role

This is a key opportunity for a motivated individual to work in diagnostic imaging, contributing to high-quality patient care and medical outcomes.

  • This position involves working as a Diagnostic Radiographer within the imaging department, providing comprehensive medical imaging services in line with professional practices and standards.
  • Key responsibilities include working in a team environment to deliver general imaging services across various modalities, including intra-operative fluoroscopy, mobile x-ray, and fixed fluoroscopy.

The successful candidate will have strong technical skills, be able to learn and adapt quickly, and possess excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Requirements
  • A degree in Medical Radiation Science (Diagnostic Radiography) or equivalent is required prior to commencement of the role.
  • Registration with the Australian Health Professionals Registration Authority (AHPRA) is essential.
  • Eligibility to hold a current NSW EPA Radiation licence and NSW Drivers licence is also required.

Candidates should be able to reside adjacent to Upper Hunter New England Imaging sites when required. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated team player who can provide top-notch service to patients and colleagues alike.
