Job Title: Casual Wait Staff

We are seeking a talented and experienced Wait Staff to join our team in the prestigious Porter House Hotel.

This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside a skilled chef in a high-end dining environment that promises excellence in both service and cuisine. Our fine dining setting offers an exceptional guest experience, with seamless table service being key to delivering this standard.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Delivering impeccable table service in a fast-paced fine dining setting
  • Assisting guests with menu and beverage selections
  • Ensuring all service steps are executed to the highest standards
  • Working closely with the FOH team to deliver a smooth guest experience
  • Maintaining a polished, professional presentation at all times

We are looking for someone with:

  • A valid RSA certification
  • Previous experience in a la carte hatted restaurants or similar
  • Exceptional customer service skills – our number one priority
  • A team-oriented, reliable and proactive approach
  • Knowledge of wine and confidence in service
  • Availability for evenings, weekends and public holidays
