Leadership Opportunity: SA/DV Services Manager

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our Sexual Assault/Domestic Violence (SA/DV) services. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for implementing SA/DV services in collaboration with our Network, adhering to established guidelines and best practices.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Provide clinical leadership to SA/DV nurses, including mentorship, guidance, and support.">
  • Collaborate with nurses, counsellors, and other clinicians to ensure effective care delivery.">
  • Orient new nurses to the team and ensure they meet requirements for virtual SANE training.">
  • Complete chart reviews and provide feedback to clinicians.">
  • Lead nurse team meetings and provide vicarious trauma support for clinicians.">
  • Develop and maintain relationships with community partners, including emergency departments, police, and community agency staff.">
  • Ensure compliance with reporting requirements and support clinicians with REDCap database use.">
  • Maintain up-to-date program policies, procedures, medical directives, and documentation.">
  • Participate in program leader meetings, educator meetings, and nurse CoP meetings.">
  • Contribute to pediatric care initiatives and collaborate with the Regional Clinical Practice Leader.">

Requirements:

  • ">
  • Registered Nurse with current Certificate of Registration from the College of Nurses of Ontario.">
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing.">
  • Minimum five years of SA/DV experience and three years of patient/family/staff teaching experience.">
  • Current Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner Certification and recent experience on the SATC Response Team required.">
  • Safekids Trained certification is also necessary.">
