About the Role

This is a pivotal leadership opportunity to drive impactful reform agendas across legislation, criminal and civil law areas, integrity, regulation with regard to safeguarding community well-being, and victims' rights.

The incumbent will oversee national and international trends in justice administration, legislation, public policy and public safety, ensuring that Queensland remains at the forefront of bold, contemporary and innovative reform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive strategic reform agendas across legislation, criminal and civil law areas, integrity, regulation and victims' rights
  • Oversight of national and international trends in justice administration, legislation, public policy and public safety
  • Provide trusted strategic advice to senior government officials
  • Lead reforms across multiple government agencies
  • Foster strong relationships with central agencies, statutory bodies and government partners
About You

You are a seasoned leader with experience delivering major social or justice policy reforms in complex organisations. You combine strategic acumen with the ability to navigate complexity and deliver outcomes efficiently.

You bring resilience and the capacity to inspire change in challenging environments, combined with cultural capability in working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander leaders and communities.
