We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Data Management Strategist to join our Credit Data Management team at Macquarie. As a key member of our data team, you will play a pivotal role in implementing data management best practices to drive a data-driven culture within our esteemed financial services group.

The ideal candidate will possess 5+ years' experience in data management or data operations, preferably in financial services. You will have expertise in data quality monitoring and issue management, as well as advanced skills using SQL, Alteryx, and tools like Collibra. Strong stakeholder management and organisational skills, along with excellent written and verbal communication skills, are essential for this role.

This position offers a competitive salary of $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience, and includes hybrid and flexible working arrangements, one wellbeing leave day per year, and up to five additional days leave based on length of service. We also provide up to 20 weeks paid parental leave, paid volunteer leave, and donation matching.

In our Risk Management Group, you will be part of an independent and centralised function responsible for reviewing and challenging material risks. Our divisions include Compliance, Credit, Financial Crime Risk, Internal Audit, Market Risk, Operational Risk, Prudential Risk, and Risk Management Group Central.
