We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Safety, Health & Wellbeing Advisor to join our team at GHD. As a key member of our Operational Asset Management Support Service (AMSS) contract, you will work closely with our client Main Roads WA to ensure the safety and well-being of our employees and the public.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the safety function for the Wheatbelt area, including Main Roads offices and associated project sites
  • Conduct site inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions
  • Develop and deliver toolbox meetings for routine maintenance and direct managed work crews
  • Investigate incidents and develop reports to identify lessons learned and implement improvements
  • Manage records using MRWA systems and software, including TRIM, INX (EQSafe), and Risk Management protocols/guidelines

Requirements

  • 7-15 years of relevant experience in safety and operational management
  • Experience in safety in an operational organization, with a sound understanding of WHS regulations
  • Mentoring and coaching experience, with the ability to implement and train safety systems
  • Cert 4 WHS, Certification in Lead Investigation (ICAM or similar), and Internal Auditor certification
