Job Overview

Seeking an experienced automotive professional to lead the buying and selling of vehicles across a national dealer network.

  • Purchase and sell vehicles within the trade market, exercising autonomy and accountability.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with used car dealers, wholesalers, and fleet operators.
  • Negotiate confidently on purchase and sale pricing, margins, and volumes.
  • Manage procurement workflows and pricing models to maximize profitability.
  • Monitor wholesale trends, vehicle demand, and resale values to inform business decisions.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to track stock movement and ensure operational alignment.

Key Requirements

  • Proven experience in automotive wholesale buying and/or selling.
  • A well-established network of dealers and sourcing contacts.
  • Deep understanding of vehicle pricing, resale demand, and wholesale valuations.
  • Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills.
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to operate autonomously.
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage end-to-end transactions.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Current Australian driver's licence.
  • Willingness to undergo a police and background check.
