Guest Services Attendant Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Guest Services Attendant to join our team at The Lane Retreat. As a key member of our front-of-house team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment where you will have the chance to develop your skills and knowledge in hospitality.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Welcome guests with a professional and friendly approach, via phone, email, or in-person.
  • Prepare guest arrivals, welcome cards, and amenities to a high standard.
  • Assist with dinner and wine tasting reservations at partner venues.
  • Process sales and make coffees in The Pantry.
  • Handle check-outs, cash, and credit card transactions.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless guest experiences.
Key Requirements:
  • Experience as a receptionist, hotel front office attendant, or similar.
  • Knowledge of PMS and end-of-day reconciliation processes.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills, including in-person, telephone, and email.
  • Computer literate and confident with Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • A passion for hospitality and making memorable guest experiences.
  • RSA and Driver's Licence essential.
