About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Grounds Person to join our team at Green by Nature. As a Grounds Maintenance Specialist, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the beauty and health of our green spaces.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with routine maintenance tasks such as mowing, pruning, and weeding to ensure our green spaces look their best.
  • Operate hand tools and power equipment safely and effectively under the guidance of experienced team members.
  • Load and unload materials, plants, and equipment from trucks and trailers.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, tools, and equipment.
  • Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your team members.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in landscaping, gardening, or a related field is preferred.
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, bend, squat, kneel, and stand for extended periods.
  • Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and the sun.
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to completing tasks efficiently and to the highest standards.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
  • Valid Driver's License
  • White Card
  • Working with Children Check, or willingness to obtain.
  • Ongoing safety training programs and resources available.
