Donor and Surrogacy Nurse

About the Role
The Royal Women's Hospital is seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse to coordinate and manage quality nursing care for patients undergoing treatment with donor gametes. As the Donor and Surrogacy Nurse, you will oversee the management of surrogate cycles, support clinic staff, collaborate with healthcare professionals, and ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and legislative requirements for all donor programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage quality nursing care for patients undergoing treatment with donor gametes, adhering to RTAC Code of Practice and other ART and fertility legislations and guidelines
- Oversee surrogate cycles and communicate with intending parents
- Provide support and guidance to clinic nurses in the management of donor and recipient cycles
About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Division 1 Nurse registration with AHPRA
- Understanding of the RTAC Code of Practice and other ART and fertility legislations and guidelines
- Fertility nurse experience, with experience in donor and/or surrogacy services desirable
- The ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a desire to provide patients with exceptional experiences
