Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Game Product Manager to join our team at Electronic Arts. As a key member of our product management team, you will be responsible for driving the development and growth of our games, with a focus on maximizing titles' acquisition, engagement, monetization, and overall player experience.

About the Role

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, development, and marketing, to provide new experiences and features that meet the needs of our players.
  • Act as a liaison between stakeholders and the development team, ensuring clear communication and alignment on project goals and expectations.
  • Lead the planning of product release plans, setting realistic timelines and delivery expectations for new functionalities.
  • Oversee the development stages, ensuring that the final product meets the defined requirements and is of high quality.
  • Develop and maintain an appropriately prioritized backlog of user stories for implementation, aligning with business objectives and player needs.
  • Drive qualitative input strategies, establishing regular check-ins with the game team to inform feature design and product strategy.
  • Conduct post-release analyses, communicating takeaways to teams and executives, and collaborating with junior team members to document and share learnings.
  • Analyse industry market trends and competitor strategies to inform product decisions and stay ahead of the competition.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 8+ years of experience in product management within the games industry, with a strong focus on mobile expertise.
  • Experience using Excel (can perform complex functions) or BI tools (Power BI or Tableau) to build dashboards and produce insights.
  • Experience in a B2C product management environment where the consumer is the priority.
  • Knowledge of Agile process and principles, with experience using product management tools like JIRA or Trello.
  • Strong communication skills, with experience communicating product updates, milestones, and progress to internal and external partners.
  • A deep understanding of the gaming industry and market trends.
