Job Title: Field and Partner Solutions Engineering Manager

 

**Job Description:**

The Field and Partner Solutions Engineering Manager is responsible for leading a team of engineers who work with partners to deliver cutting-edge communication solutions to clients across various sectors.

The role requires strong business acumen, presentation skills, and executive presence. The successful candidate will have extensive experience leading technical pre-sales direct and channels organizations, and be able to drive the Zoom vision through in-person presentations at key customer and partner-facing events.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Oversee and lead ANZ Field and Partner Solutions Engineering team
  • Set and execute the technical ANZ pre-sales direct and channels/partner strategy
  • Drive the Zoom vision, including in-person presentations at key customer and partner-facing events
  • Build business plans with ANZ sales, channel, customer success, and marketing cross-functional partners
  • Define and implement Zoom partner technical enablement and demand generation events
  • Coach and mentor both experienced and early-in-career (EIC) team members
  • Handle business, technical, personnel, and customer escalations

 

**Requirements:**

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 8+ years' experience in the Unified Collaborations industry
  • 3+ years leading a technical pre-sales direct and channels organization
  • Strong business acumen, presentation skills, and executive presence
  • Understanding of partners' businesses and how Zoom services can enhance their value proposition
  • Industry-competitive knowledge, including solution, technology, and product offerings from Microsoft, RingCentral, 8x8, Nice, Cisco Systems, and other vendors
  • Be self-motivated, organized, and a strategic thinker with the ability to break down ambiguous/complex problems and deliver a cohesive recommendation
  • Typically requires Bachelor of Science (BS)/Bachelor of Engineering (BE) or equivalent
