We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced retail leader to join our team at PETstock Townsville Pty Ltd. As a retail leader, you will be responsible for leading by example, mentoring and inspiring your team on a daily basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coach and develop your team to achieve and develop their knowledge and skills
  • Lead from the front, providing an exceptional customer experience
  • Ensure the safety of the store, team members and customers by maintaining a safe work environment at all times
  • Support stock management, ensuring stock is maintained and accurate
  • Recruit, onboard and induct high calibre new team members
  • Contribute to a fun, supportive culture instore where the team loves coming to work every day

Requirements:

  • Experience in a similar store leadership role or ready to take that next step up in your retail management career
  • Demonstrated success in driving sales
  • Strong leadership with ability to motivate and build a high performing team, with a positive culture
  • High degree of resilience and ability to priorities and manage conflicting priorities
  • Ability to create a positive culture of safety
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed sales targets
  • Established business acumen
  • Ability to be flexible in order to meet changing work conditions
  • High degree of interpersonal and communication skills
