About the Role:
This is an excellent opportunity for a highly skilled tradesperson to join a reputable joinery company that values craftsmanship and innovation. As a cabinet maker/joiner, you will be responsible for creating custom furniture and cabinetry, interpreting shop drawings and plans, and ensuring high-quality finishing of completed pieces. You will also be working on-site installations and managing builds.
Key Responsibilities:
- Custom Fabrication: Measure, cut, shape, and join materials to create custom furniture and cabinetry.
- Blueprint Reading: Interpret shop drawings, plans, and blueprints to ensure accurate production.
- High-Quality Finishing: Sand, finish, and polish completed pieces to a high standard.
- Assembly & Installation: Assemble parts, install hardware, and other functional components as required.
- Workshop & Site Work: Maintain a safe and organized workshop environment while working both in the factory and on-site installations.
- Team Leadership: Run jobs on-site, manage a team, and oversee project completion.
- Tool Operation: Utilize panel saws, drop saws, edge banding machines, and other general tools.
- Material Handling: Work with hardwood, timber veneer, laminate products, and solid timber construction.
Skills and Experience:

- Plan Interpretation: Strong skills in reading and interpreting plans.
- Autonomy & Collaboration: Capable of working independently as well as part of a team.
