We are seeking an experienced Senior Solution Architect to join our elite team at Westpac Group. As a key member of our digital transformation journey, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our business.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled and motivated individual to transition into a senior solution design role within our organisation. You will be responsible for producing high-level solution designs for business-critical applications, collaborating with technology and business stakeholders to deliver innovative solutions.

Key Accountabilities
  • Drive the development of optimal solutions through creative problem-solving and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Take ownership of high-level design, ensuring adherence to architectural principles and industry best practices.
  • Work closely with architects and business stakeholders to translate business and architecture requirements into solution design.
  • Collaborate with developers to oversee the low-level design, build, and testing of solutions.
What We Offer

$120,000 - $150,000 per annum (plus superannuation)

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

At least 8 years of experience in software solution delivery, with a strong background in Java-based microservices and RESTful APIs.

Excellent analysis and design skills, with technical problem-solving expertise.

A deep understanding of system design and development, including authentication and authorization patterns.

Demonstrated experience in developing high-quality documentation and communicating complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
