Clinical Nurse Consultant Position

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Nurse Consultant to provide clinical expertise and promote the development of Perinatal, Infant and Child Mental Health practice.

  • Provide clinical guidance and foster advancement in Perinatal, Infant and Child Mental Health practice.
  • Support and enhance the clinical capabilities of staff and students.
  • Participate in the delivery of high-quality services.
  • Offer clinical leadership in practice.
  • Contribute to education and research initiatives.
Key Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing effective clinical support strategies.
  • Providing expert advice on Perinatal, Infant and Child Mental Health best practices.
  • Mentoring and coaching staff to enhance their clinical skills.
  • Contributing to the development of policies and procedures related to Perinatal, Infant and Child Mental Health.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
  • Postgraduate qualifications in perinatal & infant mental health or approved equivalent.
  • Advanced communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Extensive knowledge of good clinical practice, policies and procedures in perinatal & infant mental health.
