We are seeking a highly motivated Asset Management Engineer to join our Asset Planning and Support section on a permanent, full-time basis. As part of our team, you will play a key role in shaping the future of infrastructure delivery in the rapidly evolving North West sector.

Your Responsibilities

  • You will work closely with a multi-disciplinary team to develop the annual works program and long-term infrastructure delivery plan for the North West sector.
  • You will consolidate knowledge of the sector into Council's Asset Management Plans to inform the development of efficient infrastructure delivery strategies.
  • You will prepare Works In Kind agreements with developers to ensure the delivery of crucial infrastructure projects.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • A degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years' relevant experience in infrastructure planning and asset management.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience with S7.11 Contribution Plan and relevant legislation and regulations.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to engage with external stakeholders and customers.
  • Demonstrated experience in preparing estimates for civil works and developing project plans.

Benefits and Remuneration

The salary for this position is estimated at $108,900 per annum, based on an entry-level rate of $2,092.02 per week for a 35-hour working week. You will also receive a car allowance, flexible working arrangements, and access to employee benefits such as leave entitlements and superannuation contributions.
