About this role

  • We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Officer to support the upkeep of our aged care and retirement living services.
  • This full-time, Monday to Friday role (38 hours per week) offers stability and a competitive hourly rate.
Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking both planned and reactive maintenance, ensuring all work is carried out in line with WHS standards and organisational requirements.

  • Undertake routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning, painting, and repairing of buildings, fixtures, and equipment.
  • Identify and report potential maintenance issues before they become major problems.
  • Collaborate with other teams to achieve common goals and objectives.

Key skills and qualifications include:

  • Previous experience in a similar maintenance or handyperson role.
  • Sound knowledge of WHS and building-related legislation.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good computer literacy and organisational skills.
