Commercial Finance Professional Wanted

About the Role

We are seeking a commercially astute Commercial Finance Professional to join our Finance team. Reporting to the Financial Controller, this role plays a critical part in analysing business performance, delivering strategic insights, and supporting decision-making across the group.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare clear, insightful management reports that monitor business performance across brands and departments.
  • Lead the budgeting and forecasting process, including variance analysis and commentary.
  • Partner with business leaders to provide financial insights and commercially sound recommendations.
  • Conduct profitability analysis, margin reviews, and cost optimisation assessments.
  • Perform scenario modelling and support investment, pricing and project-related decision-making.
  • Interpret financial data and present findings in a clear, actionable format to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
  • Drive improvements in financial planning tools, dashboards, and reporting processes.
  • Support the continuous enhancement of financial systems and operational efficiencies.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Certified Practising Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification (or working towards).
  • At least 3 years' experience in a commercial finance or management accounting role.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to link financial data to operational performance.
  • Demonstrated experience in budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling.
  • Advanced Excel and data analysis skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong attention to detail, critical thinking, and problem-solving ability.
