About This Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our team at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional who is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of specialist clinical practice.

This role will provide senior nursing clinical leadership in the development of specialist clinical practice and service delivery within a nursing unit, team or service. The successful candidate will employ advanced clinical skills and exercise extended autonomy of decision making working closely with managers and other senior clinicians.

The ideal candidate will have current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with relevant post-registration qualifications and at least 3 years' experience working in the clinical area of their specified post-graduate qualification, or such other qualifications or equivalent experience deemed appropriate by the public hospital or public health organisation.

In addition to their clinical expertise, the successful candidate will possess highly developed written and verbal communication skills with advanced interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
