Job Description

This is a fantastic opportunity to work as a Locum Consultant Psychiatrist General Adult in a regional community. The role involves working in a multidisciplinary team to provide mental health services to individuals and families.

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop care plans, and support clients on their recovery journey.
  • Deliver mental health services in home, clinical, and community settings.
  • Provide immediate support to individuals in distress, ensuring safety and stability.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, social workers, and primary care providers.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in mental health case management.
  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (Clinical Nurse / Clinical Nurse Consultant).
  • Ability to work autonomously in regional & remote settings.
  • Passion for delivering high-quality mental health care to diverse communities.
  • CIMHA experience is essential.
