Childcare Leader Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Childcare Leader to join our team of educators. As an Assistant Director at our childcare service, you will play a pivotal role in the management and operations of our dynamic before and after school care programs, as well as Vacation Care.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Support the Director in delivering quality services for children and families, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment that fosters growth and development.
  • Plan, document, deliver and evaluate children's recreation and leisure programs using recognised learning frameworks, promoting creativity and exploration.
  • Lead a team of educators, providing operational management and guidance as required, to ensure seamless program delivery.
  • Develop, update and evaluate service policies, maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Implement positive behaviour management plans and strategies to support children and families with additional and complex needs, promoting inclusivity and respect.

Requirements include relevant qualifications in Early Childhood Education or a related field, strong communication and interpersonal skills, excellent organisational and time management skills, and a genuine passion for supporting the learning and development of children.
