Pyramid Global Technologies is a dynamic company seeking an experienced Agile Delivery Specialist to join our team in Perth. As an Agile Delivery Specialist, you will play a crucial role in facilitating Agile ceremonies, encouraging collaboration, and driving adoption of agile delivery models.

Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per annum

Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Agile Delivery Specialist to lead agile projects from initial project backlog creation and planning activities through demonstration and release deployment. The ideal candidate will have experience in facilitating Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily stand-ups, sprint retrospectives, and sprint reviews/showcases.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Facilitate Agile ceremonies for various distributed streams, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily stand-ups, sprint retrospectives, sprint reviews/showcases, and release planning.
  2. Encourage collaboration and proactively seek opportunities to improve collaboration between distributed teams.
  3. Proactively plan and collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure successful implementation of services for designated products and projects.
  4. Assist with internal and external communication by transparently radiating information, especially relative to historical team metrics, progress towards sprint and release goals, and team capacity.
  5. Manage release plans, iteration plans, and status reporting for designated projects.
  6. Assist teams with making appropriate commitments to tasks.
  7. Proactively identify and remove blockers, limit work-in-progress, and prevent distractions.
  8. Facilitate frequent retrospectives, sharing metrics to identify and implement improvements.
  9. Lead agile projects from initial project backlog creation and planning activities through demonstration and release deployment.
  10. Lead risk and issue identification, and mitigation activities with the project team, escalating those in a proactive and professional fashion when appropriate.
  11. Ensure timely and accurate communication and distribution of project information to all appropriate team members and stakeholders.
  12. Identify differences in understanding and issues as they arise and elevate them to the team for resolution or to management if needed.
  13. Manage Sprints, keeping order and ensuring process, delivery, priorities are accurate and delivered on time.
  14. Work with Product Owners to ensure that testing and feedback is completed in a timely manner and meeting Sprint timelines.
  15. Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and encourage self-management.
  16. Train, mentor, coach, and help set up fit-for-purpose agile delivery models and behaviors.
  17. Drive adoption and readiness of proposed changes.
