Job Description

The IT Digital Portfolio Risk Specialist will be responsible for providing governance and assurance across the IT digital portfolio, joining the Delivery Capability Department within the IT Digital Division.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate project risk workshops, ensuring resultant risks are documented and addressed.
  • Track and monitor the effectiveness of risk controls and response actions.
  • Analyse data to develop reports and present findings to key stakeholders for informed decision-making.
  • Liaise with the Digital Risk Manager to escalate risks via the Digital Operations Meeting.
  • Support the onboarding and coaching of new project/delivery/platform managers in the organisation's Digital Risk Management frameworks.
  • Promote a risk management culture within each project team and portfolio operations team.

This role requires a strong understanding of Risk Management Standard ISO 31000, proficiency in quantitative analysis and statistical models, experience in communicating ideas via reports and presentations, facilitation of risk workshops, agile mindset and agile delivery experience, and background in portfolio risk management.
