Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the kitchen staff and ensuring the highest standards of food quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement production schedules and staff rosters to optimize kitchen efficiency and ensure seamless service.
  • Collaborate with management to create menus that cater to our customer base's diverse tastes and preferences.
  • Monitor and maintain the quality and timing of dishes throughout preparation and presentation.
  • Estimate and manage supplies, including raw foods and ingredients, to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality.
  • Inspect and maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen environment, adhering to industry standards and regulations.
  • Train, supervise, and performance manage kitchen staff to ensure they meet the required standards.
  • Prepare, cook, season, portion, and garnish dishes from our menus to the highest standards.
  • Ensure kitchen staff adheres to sanitation practices and regulations.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require a Certificate III and IV in Commercial Cookery and at least 3 years of relevant experience in a similar position.
