About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintainer (Fixed Plant) to join our team at Rio Tinto. As a key member of our Wet and Dry Plant Maintenance team, you will be responsible for providing a safe and efficient facility through the execution of mechanical fault finding, breakdown repairs, planned and opportune maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide a safe and efficient facility through the execution of mechanical fault finding, breakdown repairs, planned and opportune maintenance
  • Complete preventative and corrective maintenance for all equipment
  • Conduct routine inspections of fixed plant assets and determine repair action when required
  • Isolate equipment for maintenance and operational tasks

Requirements

  • A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team

  • A Mechanical Engineering/Fitting trade qualification
  • A Manual C-class Australian driver's licence (HR desirable)
