The Role

We are seeking an Enrolled Nurse Trainee to join our team at one of our aged care facilities. As a vital member of our team, you will support our Registered and Enrolled Nurses in the delivery of resident care while studying towards your Diploma of Nursing.

About You
  • You have been accepted into the SWTAFE Diploma of Nursing (HLT54121) or are currently studying it.
  • You possess excellent communication skills and are passionate about providing care and supporting people to live their best lives.
  • You are self-motivated and willing to undertake further studies towards your nursing career.
Your Responsibilities
  1. Assist Registered and Enrolled Nurses with routine tasks associated with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, nutrition, mobility, and elimination needs.
  2. Perform duties that require basic skills, knowledge, training, and experience.
  3. Support functions such as making beds, keeping the environment tidy, re-stocking equipment, and collecting supplies.
