We are currently seeking an experienced FIFO Construction Supervisor to join our project team based near Karratha in Western Australia. Reporting directly to the Superintendent, your primary responsibility will be to provide onsite supervisory coordination and oversight of the construction workforce, including direct labor, subcontractors, and plant.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Project Management to foster a culture of high performance among site personnel
  • Demonstrate strong leadership skills through effective communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Provide input into manning schedules to ensure adequately skilled and qualified candidates are allocated to the project
  • Evaluate work program requirements and report any variances to the Senior Project Manager
  • Work closely with the Construction Manager, Superintendent, and Engineers to develop, review, and monitor work programs for each section of the project
  • Maintain cost control within your remit, particularly direct costs associated with plant and labor, to optimize resource utilization
  • Ensure timely delivery of contract and quality requirements through effective communication and information flows

Requirements:

  • Prior experience as a Formwork and/or Concrete Supervisor with a Civil contractor on an FRP project
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a FIFO/DIDO capacity
  • Excellent planning, monitoring, and documentation skills
  • Proven track record of safety and environmental awareness
  • Self-motivated individual with well-developed organizational and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience managing direct labor, subcontractors, and plant crews
  • Superior interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to resolve conflicts effectively
