Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled healthcare professional to join our team at Eldercare in Mount Barker, AU.

This is a fixed term contract role now til 30th June 2026, with shifts as follows:

  • Week 1: Thursday 15:00 - 23:15, Saturday 07:00 - 15:15, Monday 15:00 - 23:15
  • Week 2: Thursday 15:00 - 23:15, Friday 15:00 - 23:15 OR 23:00 - 07:15, Monday 15:00 - 23:15, Tuesday 23:00 - 07:15

The successful candidate will provide high-quality individualised care to residents, focusing on managing complex clinical needs such as wound care and pain management. This will involve supporting the delivery of clinical services, conducting comprehensive assessments, coordinating resident care, and integrating evidence-based practices into clinical care.

In this role, you will also play a key leadership role by overseeing care staff on the floor, ensuring that all services delivered reflect our commitment to clinical excellence and exceptional resident experience.

About You
  • You hold a Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification with a minimum 6 months post graduate experience.
  • You have a current AHPRA registration.
  • You have demonstrated experience of at least 6 months as a Registered Nurse within the Aged Care sector.
  • You possess excellent clinical knowledge and skills.
  • You are committed to fostering meaningful relationships with residents, their families, and colleagues through compassionate care and effective communication.

Requirements
  • Australian citizenship or permanent residency.
  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
  • Demonstrated experience working in aged care.
