About the Role

We are seeking an experienced AOD Practitioner to join our team at Hope Community Services. As a key member of our community, you will provide guidance and support to our staff and residents, ensuring the continued integrity of our Therapeutic Community model.

Key Responsibilities
  • Adhere to the Therapeutic Community Model and promote continuous quality improvement.
  • Develop and implement Treatment Plans with treatment goals for clients.
  • Facilitate therapy groups, education groups, and other activities as required.
  • Conduct scheduled case and clinical reviews with residents.
  • Participate in the Intake & Assessment process for prospective residents.
  • Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • University degree or relevant qualification in Social Work, Psychology, Counselling, or Nursing.
  • Previous experience working in drug and alcohol treatment settings.
  • Experience working with ATSI people.
Desirable Criteria
  • Previous experience working in a Therapeutic Community setting.
  • Experience working in regional WA/Australia.
  • High level of written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to write clinical/progress reports and maintain client records.
