Squad Swimming Coach

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Squad Swimming Coach to lead our junior squads and swimmers through the transition from learn to swim to squad program.

This role requires planning and coaching various squad programs, including:

  • Coaching squads at club nights and swim meets
  • Assisting with school-related swim meets, championships, and training sessions
  • Lifeguarding and pool attendant duties as required

The primary purpose of this role is to coach junior squads and swimmers through the transition from learn to swim to squad program. This coach will work primarily with Junior Development.

This role involves:

  • Conducting squads in an enthusiastic and professional manner
  • Maintaining discipline amongst squad members
  • Planning and delivering day-to-day training sessions
  • Providing feedback to swimmers during training sessions
  • Liaising with parents/guardians regarding their children's development

In addition to coaching junior squads, the Squad Swimming Coach will also assist with school programs and meets, including junior school and secondary school swim meets and championships, new student orientation, time trials, coaching of programs, administration, and coaching support.
