About the Role

As a Senior Educator, you will be responsible for leading a team of dedicated Educators to deliver exceptional educational programs.

The role involves creating and implementing engaging learning experiences tailored to meet the needs of all children.

You will collaborate with the Centre Leadership Team and the Educational Leader to observe, inform, and continuously improve teaching practices.

We are committed to providing high-quality education that promotes cognitive, emotional, and social development in children.

To achieve this, we use the Early Years' Learning Framework as a guide for our play-based curriculum.

The framework is designed to foster a love of learning and promote a strong sense of community among children and staff.

In addition to your teaching responsibilities, you will also contribute to the development of colourful and engaging programs that cater to each child's individual interests, needs, and strengths.

We believe in modeling sustainable practices within the centre and incorporating environmental awareness into our daily activities.

This includes promoting respect for nature and encouraging children to take care of their surroundings.

Better working conditions - you'll get at least 5% above the award rate. To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A Diploma in Early Childhood (or ACECQA approved equivalent).
  • Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards.
  • A current Working with Children Check.
