Portfolio Manager Position

The role of Portfolio Manager involves overseeing a designated portfolio of retail shopping centres on behalf of a major client in Brisbane. Our Retail Management team is recognised as a leader in delivering top-tier management to a national retail landlord with centres across Australia.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the client in administering lease and license requirements.
  • Manage tenancy schedules accurately.
  • Assist in preparing annual income and expenditure budgets.
  • Maintain bank guarantees.
  • Regularly inspect centres to ensure optimal presentation.
  • Monitor maintenance-related queries and works.
  • Establish strong relationships with centre occupiers, including managing complaints.
  • Provide CAPEX recommendations to the Facilities Management team.
  • Support marketing and promotional activities.
  • Manage arrears.
  • Prepare monthly financial reports.
  • Forecast expenses.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in the Property industry, with a focus on Retail management.
  • Relevant education.
  • Certificate of Registration/Agent's Representative (essential).
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong ability to build relationships.
  • Customer-centric approach.
  • Demonstrated time management and organisational skills.
  • Current Driver's licence (essential).
  • Familiarity with centre operations.
