HSE Consultant in Pilbara Earthworks

We are seeking a skilled HSE Advisor to join our Projects Delivery Team in the Pilbara FIFO from Perth. Our scope encompasses Earthworks, Rehabilitation & NPI Civil Construction.

  • Contribute to the implementation and review of the Project HSEQ Management Plan, ensuring alignment with legislative requirements and client compliance.
  • Maintain and monitor HSEQ policies, procedures, and programs for adherence to regulatory standards and client expectations.
  • Promote a positive culture of healthy lifestyle choices and safe work practices among management and workers, driving continual improvement and visibility to safety.
  • Provide expert advice, support, and assistance in conducting assessments, inspections, and monitoring compliance with client health & safety procedures and policies.
  • Perform other HSE duties as required on site, supporting the team's efforts towards a safe and healthy work environment.

About the Role:

  • Assist in reviewing and updating the company's HSEQ policies and procedures.
  • Monitor and report on site incidents, near misses, and hazards, ensuring timely mitigation and corrective actions.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with management and workers to promote a proactive approach to HSEQ.

What You'll Need:

  • A Diploma in Work Health & Safety or related field.
  • 3-5 years' experience in Mining and civil construction industry, with a strong understanding of on-site operations.
  • Clear and professional communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in MS Suite, particularly Microsoft Excel and Project.
  • Experience with MYOSH Incident Reporting (Advantage) and White Card certification.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound judgments.
