Community Fundraising Coordinator

Mater Foundation is seeking an experienced professional to develop and maintain relationships with community fundraisers.

This permanent, full-time role will be based at our Newstead campus, where the successful candidate will play a key role in planning and delivering community fundraising programs.

The main objective of this position is to establish and nurture relationships with community fundraisers, provide guidance and support in event planning and execution, and identify potential third-party fundraising opportunities.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with community fundraisers to ensure they have the necessary resources and support to succeed.
  • Providing expert guidance and support in the planning and delivery of community fundraising events and programs.
  • Identifying new opportunities for community fundraising and developing strategies to maximize returns.

To be considered for this role, applicants must possess:

  • Proven experience in fundraising, event management or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly and effectively with people from diverse backgrounds.
  • Demonstrated project management skills, including the ability to plan, implement and monitor projects within set timelines and budgets.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including public speaking and report writing.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel and online fundraising platforms, as well as excellent database and data entry skills.
