Key Responsibilities

As a member of the ET Team, you will be responsible for:

  • Identifying and investigating complex financial crime risks facing the Commonwealth Bank Group.

  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to coordinate referrals for action and ensure effective financial crime compliance.

  • Developing and implementing guidance on the assessment of new typologies and obtaining endorsement from relevant committees.

  • Reporting financial crime risk and suspicious activity to regulators and providing critical insights to senior management.

  • Staying up-to-date with emerging financial crime trends and typologies and applying this knowledge to inform the Group's responses to and management of those risks.

This role requires strong analytical and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment with multiple stakeholders.
