Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and negotiate contracts and commercial agreements
  • Advise on regulatory issues and governance risks
  • Assist with other legal issues related to a large base of suppliers
  • Work closely with key stakeholders across all levels of the business
Requirements
  • At least 5 years PQE and up to about 10 PQE
  • Front-end commercial lawyer with training in a well-regarded firm or in-house
  • Ability to get on well with people from a range of backgrounds
  • Commercially-minded rather than just a black-letter lawyer

Working across various sectors, this role will appeal to a capable commercial/corporate or energy lawyer who is ready to join a thriving business and a growing friendly and dynamic legal team.

This role is broad and will provide substantial responsibility and opportunity. You will work closely with the collaborative General Counsel in a small team and other key managers as you assist with the legal function and become involved in significant legal matters for the business.

Work can include general commercial, corporate/mergers & acquisitions, energy, projects, procurement, property, intellectual property and trademarks, insurance, and privacy.
