Key Responsibilities- Develop and Execute Cyber Security Strategy: Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive cyber security strategy that addresses the unique risks in both IT and OT environments, with a strong emphasis on Cloud Security.
- Lead Incident Response Team: Oversee a global incident response team, ensuring continuous, 24/7 coverage for cybersecurity events.
- Drive Security Operations Improvements: Drive improvements in security operations technologies, particularly for multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate with IT Infrastructure, OT teams, and other departments to proactively enhance security monitoring, detection, and response capabilities.
- Establish Standard Operating Procedures: Establish standard operating procedures in partnership with Security Engineering, Architecture, and Governance teams to ensure compliance with industry standards and frameworks.
- Manage Security Tools and Technologies: Manage and improve tools for endpoint detection (EDR), SIEM, threat intelligence, and vulnerability management, aligning with frameworks like NIST and ISO 27001.
- Ensure Regulatory Compliance: Work closely with Legal and Data Protection teams to ensure compliance with global regulatory requirements, particularly in forensics and incident management.
- 10+ Years of Experience: 10+ years of experience in Security Operations, including at least 5 years in a leadership capacity.
- Cloud Security Experience: Extensive experience in cybersecurity operations within Cloud Security, IT/OT environments is desirable.
- Security Technologies: Proven experience with security technologies across AWS, Azure, GCP, EDR, SIEM, and vulnerability management tools.
- Security Frameworks: Strong understanding of security frameworks such as NIST, ISO/IEC 27001, and best practices for incident response and security hygiene improvement.
- Certifications: Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent are required.
- Utilities Experience: Prior experience in utilities, critical infrastructure, or energy sectors is preferred but not mandatory.
