Job Title: Behaviour Support Practitioner Opportunity

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our team. In this role, you will work with individuals who require support to live independently and achieve their goals.

- Main Responsibilities:
• Identify participant needs through assessment and person-centred planning
• Develop and deliver evidence-based support plans within a complex support environment
• Create meaningful goals and practical strategies as per the positive behaviour support framework
• Ensure individual plans reflect participants' goals, passions, and strengths
• Build knowledge, capacity, and strengths of those supporting participants in their lives
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team including mentoring less experienced Behaviour Support Practitioners

- Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Considerable experience working as a Behaviour Support Practitioner for a registered NDIS provider OR have obtained suitability at the Proficient or Advanced level via the self-assessment application pathway with the NDIS Commission
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Genuine passion for working in the disability sector and mentoring less experienced practitioners
- Solution-focused, proactive attitude, and motivated by improvement and testing new ideas
